One client. One consultant. Everything else, we handle.
At FinCo, your client never sits on hold with a processor or gets bounced between departments. They have you, and we make sure you have the answer before they have to ask the question.
If you want to build long-term client relationships, carry a title that means something, and grow with a company that is still being built, we want to talk to you.
FinCo is built around one promise to the merchant: one point of contact for everything, and that is you. Statement questions, fee disputes, chargeback reviews, hardware swaps, integration issues, billing questions. They reach out to you, and we make sure the answer is already in motion before you have to chase it.
No phone trees. No ticket numbers. The client knows your name and your number, and that is all they have to remember.
What you get
Six things this industry rarely offers.
Earnings that flex with the work
Bonus, commission and residuals are all on the table, and the mix flexes with the role and the book you carry. You are paid on the relationships you build and keep, not on whatever closes fastest. We walk through the structure on the first call.
Residuals that follow the relationship
When a merchant stays, the account keeps paying, and so does your share of it. Every client you keep happy this year is still paying you next year. The work compounds.
A named person behind you
Statement disputes, processor issues, chargebacks, hardware swaps, underwriting questions: there is a named person on FinCo’s side who handles each one end to end. Your client never gets pulled in. Neither do you.
Placement authority across the whole bench
You are not handcuffed to one processor. You decide which processor, pricing model, hardware and software combination wins for each merchant, across our full partner network. You stop losing deals to “we can’t underwrite that.”
A title merchants respect
FinCo consultants are introduced to merchants as advisors, not phone-bank reps. The brand carries credibility into every room you walk into. We protect it because it protects you.
Room to grow, and a company that means it
We promote from within and we train for it. Juniors become Seniors on performance, Seniors lead, and the people who help build FinCo grow with it. If you bring the work ethic, we bring the runway.
How support works behind you
The structure that makes the promise real.
“One point of contact” only works if there is a real machine behind it. FinCo runs three layers, and the merchant never has to deal with any of them directly.
FinCo internal support
Our own merchant-success layer for onboarding, training, statement walkthroughs, account reviews and routine questions. Available to your clients when they want it, and routed through you first.
Partner support and underwriting
Our processor and platform partners run 24/7 merchant support, fraud monitoring, chargeback handling and underwriting teams. National depth that the merchant never sees. They see you.
A designated escalation owner
Anything that needs a human to resolve, from a chargeback dispute to an integration issue, has a named owner on FinCo’s side who carries it end to end. You stay in the loop without having to drive it.
Training and roles
We hire at three levels. We train every one.
Training is mandatory, and it is more than a deck and a few shadowed calls. It covers processing fundamentals, statement reading, vertical-specific placement, our partner network, and the consultative process from first intro through onboarding. We invest in you so you can do the job at the standard we hold.
Senior Consultant
For experienced operators who already know payments, or adjacent small-business sales, and are ready to own a book of business. Flexible bonus, commission and residuals, plus a leadership track as the team grows.
Junior Consultant
For hard workers early in their career who want to learn the right way. Structured training, mentorship from a Senior Consultant, a growing share of what you build, and a clear path to Senior on performance.
Intern
A paid internship built to give the right person real exposure to the consultative model and a clear path to a Junior Consultant offer at the end. We hire interns who could become teammates.
Part of every role, especially early on, is outreach, referral cultivation and pipeline building. We would rather you build steadily through earned trust than burn through your network in a week. The best operators in this business come from referrals because they earned them.
What we look for
The kind of person who fits FinCo.
Hardworking. Reliable, organized, follows through. You finish what you start, and you show up on the days it is hard.
Growth mindset. You want to be better every quarter than you were the last. You take coaching, you ask questions, and you learn the merchant’s business as well as your own.
High standards. Personal, moral and quality standards. Your name on the door means something to you.
Honest and transparent. You tell the merchant the truth even when it costs the deal. The company is built around that.
Integrity first. No shortcuts, no gray-area sells, no pressure-cooker closes. The right merchant on the right placement, the right way.
Long-game patience. You are building a client book and a reputation that last a decade or more, not a one-shot close.
Background fit. Payments experience is a plus, not a requirement. Adjacent small-business sales (POS, business services, banking, business insurance, B2B advisory) translates well. Training closes the rest.
Start with a conversation, not a contract.
The first call is a 20-minute fit check. We talk about your background, your goals, and what a FinCo consultant role would look like for you, including how bonus, commission and residuals work for the role. If both sides want to move forward, we walk through the formal offer together.
Tell us a bit about you. We read every application, and if there is a fit we reach out to set up a 20-minute call. No résumé polish required. We care more about how you would treat a client.
