Independent Payment Processing Consultancy

Your business deserves an advocate, not a sales rep.

Send us one processing statement. We read every line, name every fee and tell you what is actually negotiable, usually within 24 hours. If you should stay where you are, we say so. You never write us a check.

The 30-second model

You never write us a check. We get paid when you stay.

FinCo Payments is an independent merchant services consultant in Austin, TX, working with merchants in Austin and nationwide. You send your statement. We read every line. If we can save you money on your current setup, we say so — even when that means you stay exactly where you are and we don't get the deal. If we can place you somewhere better, we propose the move with the math attached. If you say yes, FinCo gets paid by the processor each month you process. You pay the processor's published cost, and you never write us a check.

That only works if you stay happy month over month. So the whole company is built around long merchant relationships rather than fast sign-ups — a slower way to build, and the only version where growing FinCo means growing the businesses we serve.

Why FinCo

We work for you, not the processor.

Most payment reps work for one processor and get paid to close you. We work for you, and that covers every line of your statement, every fee on your terminal and every contract on your desk.

Multi-processor placement

We work with a deep bench of processor relationships, and add new ones for a vertical or a one-off deal when the fit calls for it. Whichever processor wins the economics for your volume, your vertical, and your hardware is the one that wins your business.

Merchant-first economics

We build the pricing around your business: dual pricing where it fits, interchange-plus where it fits better. You stay because it keeps working for you, and we earn your business again every month. Month-to-month terms, with the freedom to change course whenever your business does.

Transparent pricing

Every line item, named. Clear gateway fees, a clean PCI setup, and a plain-English statement you can actually read top to bottom. You see what you pay and why.

The relationship, not the transaction

A consultant who works for you — and stays.

Payment processing is usually sold once and quietly forgotten: a rate quoted, a signature collected, and a rep who moves on to the next account. Our consultants sit on your side of the table, and the relationship begins at signing instead of ending there. We're measured on how long our merchants stay, not on how fast we close them. When we can't meet in person, we prefer a quick video call, because it's the most personal way to understand your business and what you want out of it.

We work for you, not the processor

We only earn when you stay, and you only stay if you keep coming out ahead. That's how we get paid, and it's why our advice and your interest never split.

Quarterly check-ins, or whenever you call

We review your account every quarter, and any time you ask, to catch rate creep, new fees or a better placement before they cost you. You never have to wonder if you're still getting the deal you signed up for.

A named person, same day

Statement questions, fee disputes, a broken terminal, a chargeback — one person who knows your business handles it. No phone tree, no ticket queue, no "let me transfer you."

Pricing models

Six ways to charge. Whichever wins on your numbers, wins the deal.

These are the pricing models the industry actually uses, including the ones most reps won't put in front of you. We run the math on all six against your real volume, ticket size, and card mix, then recommend the one that keeps the most margin in your pocket.

Interchange Plus

Card-network pass-through cost plus a transparent markup. The model honest operators tend to end up on. Best for higher-volume businesses where every basis point matters.

Dual Pricing

A lower cash price and a higher card price posted side by side. Card customers fund processing directly; cash customers get a clean break. Legal in 49 states.

Surcharge Programs

A flat surcharge on credit only (debit excluded by law). Less aggressive than dual pricing, easier to roll out, still recovers most of the processing cost.

Cash Discount

One posted price, with a discount applied at the register when a customer pays cash. The mechanics and disclosure rules differ from dual pricing, and which one is compliant for you depends on your state and your card-brand rules. We'll tell you which.

Tiered Pricing

Transactions sorted into qualified, mid-qualified, and non-qualified buckets. It's the most common model in the industry and the one that hides the most. We'll quote it if you want the comparison, and we'll show you exactly what those buckets are doing to your effective rate.

Custom & Enterprise Interchange

For higher-volume and multi-location operators: pricing negotiated against your actual interchange profile instead of a rate card. Custom markups, negotiated terms, and the bargaining power that comes with real volume behind the ask.

Powered by RepVantage · Agentic AI

Payments is step one. Then RepVantage goes to work.

FinCo is RepVantage's exclusive partner in payments, so beyond moving money, we put an agentic AI platform in your hands: sales briefs before every call, an admin console for the whole team, GEO so AI assistants recommend you, and websites built on the same stack. One relationship for how the money moves and how the business grows.

Merchant Rewards

Your processor finally pays you back.

FinCo Rewards members earn cash back on the programs they actually run: a cash-discounting program, a dual-pricing rollout, or a referral of another business owner. Take it as cash back, or redeem it from a curated catalog of gift cards, travel, experiences, electronics and lifestyle items.

Cash discounting earns

Compliant cash-discount programs credit you ongoing points based on the volume processed through them. Bonus points on first rollout.

Dual pricing earns

Dual-pricing rollouts earn one-time bonus points plus an ongoing percentage of dual-pricing volume, on top of the margin you're already recovering.

Referrals earn

Refer a fellow business owner and earn $100 in reward points when they board. Referral partners and ambassadors earn a 10–20% share of FinCo’s revenue on every account they introduce. See the three ways to earn →
